9. They're not as high maintenance as other animals, such as dogs!
Dogs, unlike cats, usually required to be walked to maintain their health. Cats are perfectly content with sitting around all day. Cats also utilize litter boxes, which are efficient and require far less effort to clean. Some litter boxes are even self-cleaning, completely eliminating any effort you might need to put towards caring for your pet.

5. Cats are small!
Cats take up far less space than competing animals, like dogs. Because of a dog's size, they likely wouldn't be a suitable pet for smaller households. Cats, on the other hand, are perfect animals for small houses and are comfortable in nearly all settings.
3. Cats are quiet!
When a friend or family member enters the house, dogs will often enter a frenzied state of barking and other loud behaviors. Most cats are usually quiet animals and prefer to observe guests from afar.

This photo of several hilariously colored cats is a spectacular example of how cute cats are. I think this picture demonstrates how versatile a cat's cuteness can be. Dying their fur unflattering colors actually manages to make the cat appear cuter, which is a testament to their abilities.
